Alan Sasson, DMD
Program Director and Founder
With over 30years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Sasson has experienced his share of professional excellence. To do his part in ensuring the success of the community and dentistry, Dr. Sasson is committed to providing each and every student the highest quality of training to allow them the opportunity to begin a career in the profession he is so passionate about. Dr. Sasson earned his dental degree from the Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University and his certification in Oral Implantology from Brookdale Hospital in New York. He’s held faculty appointments at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, the Forsythe Institute, and the Medical Research Foundation of Boston. He has also published prestigious papers in peer-reviewed publications, including The Laryngoscope.
Dr. Sasson's leadership in the greater Boston dental community is well known. He is the past president of the Brookline Dental Society, the Boston Dental Collaborative, and the Boston Society for Dental Esthetics. Currently, his professional memberships include:

Amanda Cedrone
Lead Instructor
Amanda has nearly 20 years of experience as a dental assistant. Her involvement within the international dental community spans all areas of the profession from assisting in orthodontics, periodontics, endodontics, cosmetic and implant dentistry to oral surgery. Most recently, Amanda comes from ARCH Orthodontics and Boston Smile Center where she was the lead Clinical Coordinator in a multi-specialty dental practice.
As Lead Instructor at Career in Dental Assisting, her goal is to provide students entering the dental community with a solid foundation through a balance of comprehensive curriculum and professional hands-on experience. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time hiking, going to the beach and out in the backyard with her friends and family.
